Textile Laboratory Equipment Low Temperature Ross Flexing Tester H017B

Electrical control and drive systems outside the freezer area where moisture cannot impair electrical safety, which ensures maximum operator safety. The control system cosists of a digital temperature controller which can be set to achieve the required temperature from ambient down to -30°C, as well as a counter indicating the flexing number carried out. Machine stop automatically when test completed by counter.

    Overview

    Flexing tests are sometimes required to be carried out at low temperatures below 0°C.  
    This low temperature version of the Ross flex test is built into a low temperature cabinet. It is used for the flex testing of sole unit samples(including rubber products, shoe soles, PVC, PU, TPR foam and other materials) to assess the effect of flexing under low temperature conditions. After repeatedly flexing and bending, check its degree of damage, crack and deterioration. It has 12 stations for small samples but can also accommodate larger samples by adjusting the mechanism.

    Operation

    Connecting the air supply

    Connect the air supply to the instrument.

    Add distilled water

    Connect tube from the freestanding funnel to the water connector located at the back right-hand corner of the SST unit. Add distilled water.

    Put in filte

    Unscrew the screws and remove the top plate,Take away the reflector.
    Put in filter.

    Install the xenon lamp

    Install the xenon lamp and connect the lamp cabler.Replace the top cover and tighten the set screws.

    Mount the sample

    Mount the sample on the sample clamp.
    6

    BPT Sampling

    Place the sample into the test chamber and close the door.Be careful to avoid covering the BPT sensor.
